Yiddish: Bodies in Motion
with Sara Feldman
This intermediate, in-person Yiddish course uses physical movement, conversation, texts, and media to explore how Yiddish describes bodies in motion and talks about sports, exercise, and physical activity. The course is conducted entirely in Yiddish and assumes proficiency with the alef-beys. There will be some physical movement during class, but it's a course for every kind of body.
Who this is for:

- Students who want a face-to-face class
- Anyone who learns better by moving than by sitting still
What you'll leave with:
- The vocabulary to take part in, or lead, a movement class in Yiddish
- Stronger reading and listening skills, built on Yiddish writing and media about exercise from different eras, movements, and places
Nine Mondays: October 19, 26; November 2, 9, 16, 23, 30; December 7, 14, 5:30–7pm Pacific Time
